Membership Categories

Full Membership

Full membership offers access to the course and practice facilities 7 days a week with no time restrictions (subject to competitions and society bookings).

A weekly bulletin provides details of upcoming events/competitions at the club and members can access the diary online.

5 Day Membership

5 day members can access the course Monday to Friday with no time restrictions (subject to competitions and society bookings).

A weekly bulletin provides details of upcoming events/competitions at the club and members can access the diary online.

Student Membership

The student category is open to those persons up to age 25 on the first day of the clubs year and who are in full-time education - evidence of which maybe requested. Student members shall have unrestricted use of all facilities of the club.

Intermediate Membership

The  intermediate membership categories offer a gradual step up in membership fees from the age of 18 to 29 . This is aimed to help the younger golfer who might find it more difficult to afford the full subscription rate in their younger years. The age categories step up on a yearly basis - 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29.

Lifestyle Membership

The lifestyle category is a points based membership aimed at those persons who are unable to commit to a full or 5 day membership.

Country Membership

The criteria for this category is that applicants shall be members of a bona fide golf club and residing outside a 60 mile radius of Barlaston Golf Club.

Junior Membership

Barlaston Golf Club encourages juniors from the age of 6 to get into the game. The Junior Academy provides a pathway for future playing. Barlaston is proud that a number of their former juniors have qualified as Professional Golfers including Darren Martin our current Club Professional. A junior who has a parent/grand parent as a member of the club joins on a free subscription with the exclusion of the Golf Union Levy.
