Seniors Annual General Meeting

14th February 2023

At the Seniors Annual General Meeting held on the 14th February 2023 the business conducted included:

Ken Standeven was elected to the role of Captain for 2023 succeeding John Strain who had decided to stand down after two years.
Tony Waine was appointed to the role of Treasurer.
Neil Bishop was elected to the committee.
Seniors Competitions would continue to be played on a Tuesday, the tee will be booked from 8.00am until 9.30am. A facility will be provided for those wishing to play before these times and who wish to take part in the competition. There will be a mixed format of competitions, stableford, strokeplay, texas scramble, pairs and team. Please see the Seniors noticeboard for advance details. First competition 14th March 2023.
In line with PGA Tour and England Golf Amateur Seniors Series the qualifying age has been reduced to 50.

Seniors Individual Open 7th June 2023 and Seniors Pairs Open 16th August 2023, booking for both competitions can be done on-line via the club website.
