Samantha Barley Barlaston Lady Captain 2023

 

My name is Sam Barley and I am proud to be Lady Captain at Barlaston Golf Club for 2023, we are a friendly and welcoming group of golfers and have a beautiful and challenging course.

 

We have lady golfers of all abilities, there are numerous competitions and several major competitions throughout the season.  Competition days are Sundays and Wednesdays including Medal play and Stablefords.  For those who enjoy match play we have our club knockout competitions both single and doubles.  We also enter teams to the County knockout silver and bronze division, Barlaston Ladies are the Silver Division County Perry Cup Champions for 2022.  Friendly matches are arranged over the season and we are active members of the North Staffs and District Ladies Golf Alliance.

 

This year Captain Paul Scriven and I will be jointly fund raising for our nominated charity, the UHNM Charity Trust, the money split equally between Breast Care and Childhood Diabetes. We hope you will support us to raise funds for this very worthy cause.
